This is a short (5 min) documentary made by Ross Beamish and fellow students as part of their film school course at the University of Bristol. They shot it in Bristol in November 2005, the night that extended hours under the Licensing Act 2003 came into force.
The documentary looks at current attitudes of everyday people towards alcohol and features an official interview with the police and Huey from the Fun Lovin' Criminals. It also contains official statistics on alcohol related facts.
It was made to be shown on the big screen, so some of the graphics are hard to read. Ross also made a podcast with additional material from the interviews and background to the making of the documentary; more on that in a future post at Alcohol Policy UK.
