The Cambridge Evening News reports that "a medical unit erected in Petty Cury, Cambridge, for the New Year festivities was hailed a success. In collaboration with the East Anglian Ambulance Trust, paramedics and St John Ambulance, the unit treated 19 people during the night. Hundreds of others were given a hot drink and advised on sensible drinking."
Cambridge joins what appears to be a rapidly growing trend for these alcohol field stations in large towns and cities. See previous post on this topic.
